Over 70 Global Partners to Join Web Summit Qatar 2027

The Permanent Web Summit Organising Committee has reviewed the latest preparations for the fourth edition of Web Summit Qatar, scheduled to take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from January 31 to February 3, 2027.

The review took place during the committee’s regular meeting in Doha.

Committee Reviews Summit Preparations

The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani, Director of the Government Communications Office (GCO) and Chairman of the Permanent Web Summit Organising Committee.

Representatives from several government entities and strategic partners attended the meeting, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Investment Authority, Invest Qatar, Qatar Tourism and Qatar Airways, along with members of the Web Summit team.

More Than 70 Global Partners Confirmed

More than 70 global partners have already been confirmed for Web Summit Qatar 2027.

The upcoming edition will also welcome trade delegations from several countries, including:

France
Pakistan
Bahrain
Italy
Türkiye
Palestine
The growing participation highlights the summit’s expanding international reach and its importance as a platform for technology, innovation and investment.

Focus on Startups and Investment Opportunities

Sheikh Jassim said the fourth edition will focus on converting growing international interest into tangible opportunities for Qatar’s private sector and startup ecosystem.

The summit aims to connect startups with investors and global markets while attracting international partners, expertise and new business opportunities to Qatar.

He also highlighted the participation of more than 70 global partners as a reflection of the event’s growing international profile and its contribution to innovation, entrepreneurship and economic diversification.

Runway to Web Summit Qatar Embassy Series

The committee also reviewed the Runway to Web Summit Qatar Embassy Series, organised through a partnership between the GCO and Web Summit.

The series is being held in major global technology and innovation hubs, including Washington DC, Stockholm and Berlin, among other locations.

The initiative aims to strengthen international engagement, build partnerships and create momentum ahead of Web Summit Qatar 2027.

Road to Web Summit Qatar Bootcamp

Another key initiative discussed was the Road to Web Summit Qatar, a bootcamp designed to prepare a group of Qatari startups for investor meetings and the PITCH stage competition at the 2027 summit.

The programme will help participating startups strengthen their preparation and gain greater exposure to investors and international opportunities.

Supporting Qatar’s Digital Transformation

Web Summit Qatar is described as the fastest-growing technology event in the Middle East and North Africa.

The event brings together technology leaders, investors and decision-makers from around the world while supporting Qatar’s efforts in economic diversification and digital transformation.

With preparations underway and international participation continuing to grow, Web Summit Qatar 2027 is set to further strengthen Doha’s position as a regional hub for technology, entrepreneurship and innovation.
